Unable to locate a valid sse installation

hi

after playing sse for about 4 weeks, i decided to get the ferry pack. i bought it from ShipSim.com, downloaded it, clicked 'Run' selected the language, and pressed ok. it then said 'Unable to locate a valid sse installation.' i reinstalled sse, and downloaded it again. same thing happened.

What should i do now  ???

And do you have the STEAM version of SSE?

Do you use the Steam version of ShipSim?

If so, you need to buy it directly from Steam as the ShipSim.com ferry pack only works with the non-steam version.

The code adding in your profile has nothing to do with installing.
It's most likely that he has a steam version.

Send an email to info@shipsim.com explaining the situation. If I remember correctly they might be able to refund it.

and another thing,

im currently trying to buy it from steam. i get to stage 1. it says, Please verify your email adress with Steam. they send a link to my email. i click it, a new window opens and takes me to my steam profile. i then go back to stage 1. Anyone else know this problem?

No i'm not formilair with it. But isn't there a button which say's: resend my activition e-mail?? Maybe the e-mail isn't working proper.
Just a question: How are you able to play SSE with out steam?
