Why do you want to sink them anyway?

This is a misunderstanding!
TJK and cpt.nordstrand - try to read the sentences as Norwegian sentences (translate each single word, but keep the word order), and you will understand:

Krgjerde did NOT want to sink the ship! But it sank - although he only collided with a speed as low as 2 knots (see reply #2).
THAT's what made him angry. (And somehow I do understand it.)

Furthermore he asks WHY it sank.

You didn't make me angry at all! I just wanted to point that you, TJK and tractorman have misunderstood Krgjerde, who in fact doesn't want to sink ships, but got angry, because his ship sank, although he collided at a speed of only 2 knots. At least is this how I understand it. And even if you are pretty good in understanding English, the point is, that the threadstarter's English isn't good at all.

I suppose the reason for this misunderstanding is that Krgjerde has used Google Translate and TJK (who isn't perfect in English) probably read his post too quickly (which can happen to everyone) - and all replies, including yours, are based upon TJK's wrong interpretation ...

But howsoever - Krgjerde doesn't seem to be interested any longer.

So for me it's still a peaceful sunny evening which makes me want to go outside and have e cold beer ...
