A warship modelers paridise
« on: March 24, 2011, 20:14:52 »

Hello everyone out there one the big wide forum...
I've come across this site in my trawls, and thought i might aswell share it.
Its a Database of plans for every french ship from around 1800+ (with the exeption of vessels that are still in service)
These plans have been published by the french navy, and are in .tiff format.
There is litterally every type of ship imaginable, from small gunboats to tugs to tankers to destroyers to aircraft carriers, all with indepth plans (including the line drawings showing the hull curve)
Best thing? ITS FREE!

I tried to make a ship using these, but had to stop after my computer went back to the shop.

(the sites in french, so run it through google translate) [sorry if this is in the wrong place, only just scene the vessel design group...]
