I've used it for 10 years..  Still, I'll wait for the automatic update, in case any bugs show up.
  (think I might miss 3.6   :)

Unfortunately FF 4 does not support the "Kaspersky URL Advisor" feature and I chose to roll back to 3.6.16

For die hard Internet Explorer users. IE 9 is already out

No I have Firefox for years now , Updates automaticly .  :)

New versions to download and install / no problems before !  ???

Download and install went well, but a freeze came after the launch the new version

There will be checks for Java , I think its went wrong there !

Installed 3.5. .  again (working fine), tried a the new one few times:

NO GO, for the new 4 version !

I would wait for the automatic update..
In the meantime, check if you have old versions of Java and remove them..

Java does not overwrite older versions, you must remove them manually..(in Configuration-Software)
Have you tried the official Firefox site..?

THX, Saltydog,

I stumbled on an article about Firewall / I'll try that first  ::)

Update:

That wasn't the problem ! / Firewall is controled in Windows Security Centre ! Program was allowed acces

I have AVG 10 now, there is no directions for that program related to Firefox 4 yet !

Tested the java install; all fine / latest version / up and running / no old versions were found !?

Any new suggestions !?  ;D

OK, I have Firefox 4

I found the Firefox 3 was very unstable - I got "stop this script" messages in Hotmail, but this one appears quite good for me

I have been using Chromium for the past few years, I used FFX when it first came out, but changed to chromium as it is a bit more lightweight.
