Flying with POR after patch 1.3.5
« on: March 12, 2011, 14:35:26 »

I have no ship when I want to sail free roaming with POR, after a few minutes POR appears, but then she starts to fly. When she is calmed down, I try to sail but the ship controls do not respond or very poorly. Engine is turned on with bow thruster....

Here is a picture of my problem.
Look at the engines, rudder, thrusters ...

Problems are caused by POR, I have no problems with other ships.
Why?

The PoR dynamics are visibly broken, for what reason I don't know, it could be a file if the problem can be repeated.
Your file PrideOfRotterdam.act should have a 5218 bytes length (in C:\Program Files (x86)\Vstep\ShipSimExtremes\Projects\ShipSimExtremes\Data\Entities\Dynamics).
Perhaps could you check its integrity first? If your version is Steam, you should re-download the game, I am not sure if the files can be simply replaced with Steam.

I think that would be a clever thing to do Ken.
In fact, reinstaling from scratch has fixed several things for me actually.

Good luck!

Hmm I'm not sure, when I reinstaled I didn't care for my old profile since I'm not that keen on the missions, so I deleted everything that remained in the SSE folder (dont use steam though)

But if you are into the missions you better keep your profile and delete the rest.

Good luck! ;)
Tell back rather it worked or not  ;D

Edit: And also, have you tried sailing without damage?
