Hi marcstrat,

nice chart, beside the fact, that Marseille is hardly to see there.. ;) ;) ;)

Try Google-Earth and you may find the pitoresk scenery there. It´s an unusal port of course, because its directly at the shore, no river or estuary to sail up.

Cheers

Hello marcstrat,
Does that map represent the whole area around Marseille in ShipSim2008, or will it be only a part of it?

Luc

He has highlighted the harbor itself - i would assume that is all VStep has put into the game. However, let us hope for more, eh? And yes, it is an open port, nothing too challenging in regards of getting to it. I am curious as to why it was selected.

Thats definetely part of the new environment, but the port with terminals for RoPax and CV starts a little bit north of these chart.

I hope to see in never versions, the Istanbul strait. It's amazing to sail, about 12 times you must change your course, variable currents, lots of historical buildings at shore.

There is the screen of Istanbul Strait.

Yeah. It looks like it will be a nice challenge to get larger vessels docked up in that area.

No clue, I would like to know, as well. I think Superfast Ferries has gone over to there at some point or another.

Anyone - answers?

Well it's good to see that big ships can actually dock there.
