Problem with FPS

Hi,


I have downloaded demo version.With my previous PC I had about 20 FPS on the Whaler mission.                                                                                                        Previous PC-Athlon 6000+
                                                                                                                                 GT 220 512 MB
                                                                                                                                  4 GB DDR2

Now I bought new PC.And still I have 20 FPS on the sam mission.New PC-Phenom X4 955
                                                                                                  GTX 460 1 GB
                                                                                                   4 GB DDR3

Drivers for graphic card are new.

As time goes by, I give less and less credit to FPS benchmarks in Ship Sim Extremes. Personnally use FRAPS, and sometimes FRAPS display a bad framerate(11, 12 fps) but the feeling of the game is very smooth. Sometimes the framerate displayed is better (26,27 fps), but the game runs exactly the same.

So, instead of reading your FPS counter, how do you feel the game ? Do you feel it runs smoothly, or not ?

I knew the FRAPS is not so good,but still you can feel the game is not going smoothly.It stops every half second.

And in the mission turrist in demo I have 11FPS .on the second one is about 20 FPS,with medium details,1280x768(also tried on 1600x1050).Still same.

If the game stop every half second, like you said, then indeed, you might have a technical problem.

You might find useful informations on the link vin_sun gave you, or on another topic in the technical support section on the forum.

To gain access to the technical support section, you'll have to register your Ship Sim Extremes licence key into your forum profile, like ShipAddict told you. No technical support can be given before you do that !

Played demo again.Now i tried with a high details.Now the "Whaler" mission runs on 25FPS on High,and the other missio has the same 10FPS.
