No one got ripped of, mate.. I reckon it's called free market economy..
If I buy a product and sell it to you, new, for much less, then the original manufactorer isn't ripping anyone off. I'm just diving under their price, and that costs me profit, or might even mean I make a loss.
Obviously as time goes by the price of 'stuff' also gets lower.. but this here is a bit much. Maybe a number of total purchases/transactions to get a position in the 'biggest sellers online' record list is more important than immediate profit, to some online shops and such. I don't know...
Could be a number of reasons, but the initial intention of the normal retail price isn't to rip people off, at least.
