here is a bit of wot i have so far i need to make a arc but can not do it

Press "A" on your keyboard, then click on the left edge of your cuboid, then the right edge and with the mouse drag the arc to the size you want. Click once more to place it.

If you work your way through this channel's collection of clips, you'll learn a lot about sketchup.

It's not made for version 8 but it all applies nonetheless.

Cool, your getting better. I would make the wheels a bit bigger, just a suggestion. The videos that Mad Fred showed you are wonderful, make sure to look through them if you havn't yet.
