Channel Queen company name - Its Up to you
« on: November 05, 2010, 16:27:35 »

Hi Guys,

For my model the Channel Queen, and also for the SRN4, I need a company name to run her. I originally called the company Dover-Calais Ferries, but felt this might be too restricting. I also started up a "Company" MP Forum (With fellow user Lagan Viking) called Global Shipping, with a subdivision for Ferries called Global Ferries. I know his model is under this company. My original models always used to be under the company "Eagle Ferries", but a logo would be hard...

So guys what do you think, which one gets your vote, or do you have your own suggestions?

Its over to you, you have a week to decide...

Hi TFM! Congratulations on finishing your wonderful project, or almost being completed, anyway.. I think that Dover-Calais Ferries is a nice, relaxed, and cool name. My second vote would be Eagle Ferries. Good luck  :captain:

I personally voted for "Global Ferries" as I think it has a nice ring to it, but also doesn't limit you in anyway as you said in your first post. :)

Well done on the model by the way, she's looking grand!

Good option, or even FM Line or something. But my favourite is DC Ferries, (Dover-Calais Ferries)  :2thumbs:

And with the name "Global Ferries" you aren't restricted to Dover-Calais.

Heey Christophe

Sealink would be great, trouble is since it was a company name, someone still owns it, and I wouldn't have a clue who now...  :-\
