I am trying to install this game on my pc but it keeps telling me " Error: No valid license key entered."
I am told the same when i try to register it on this site.
I am entering it exactly as it is in the case, i have got others to check i am entering the right characters and still the error message.
I had Ship Simulator 2006 plus addons.
I have uninstalled these and rebooted and i still can't use the game.
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! i need help.

Try to update the game to the latest version and than enter in the key code

Updates do not affect keys in any way, so that won't change a thing, I'm afraid.

Can you please send your key to me in a personal message, s7eve?

And please include your place of purchase. I can hazard a guess.. Game.uk by any chance??

I have the same problem

Brought the game today, and the key is invalid, iv tried it every way possible, it also says its invalid in the profile section on this site...

I downloaded the addon from this site but i gather theres no point installing it if the first key dosnt work.

... and yes... i purchased it from a game store.

Hi dobbo049,

I'm afraid you will have to return the game to the store. A batch was supplied to Game UK by one of the publishers, with invalid license keys.

They are now aware of the problem, so inform them of this when you return it.

The publisher has corrected the mistake, so you should get a working version upon returning this one.

But if for some reason they don't make it happen or if something goes wrong, then contact me through personal message.

Hi Dave,

You can find your new license key in your forum profile, I registered it for you. You may discard the one that came with the game.

Also, make sure not to miss out on the free bonus vessel, Jumbo Javelin. The download link can also be found in your profile.

Hi, I am new to this site, I purchased ship simulator from amazon supposedly new, it came with no booklet so I have no product key, is there any way I can get one? I am getting no response from seller on amazon, it is a company so I doubt its a copy but my little boy went from being very excited to in tears when we realised we couldnt play it!

Sorry to hear about your case. It was certainly not fair on the part of the seller not to include the booklet in the DVD case. Did complaining to Amazon help?

Actually it's with the stand alone server. It says that no valid licence key is detected. I think the MP server might require a patch with newer Keys?

to obtain access to some functions, it's necessary to register your license key here on the forum, in the PROFILE section. Have you done so already?

Ship Sim stand alone server does not recognize the VALID Licence Key with my Ship Simulator 2008 purchased from the online gaming site GAMERS GATE, Key works with everything else including the forum registration.
