[Solved] Problems with 1.2.2 update
« on: October 06, 2010, 12:33:22 »

Can anyone offer any advice with this please?
I have what I guess is a steam version - It was purchased from Play.com but has the steam logo on the front of the box and I had to create a steam account when I installed the game.
I was under the impression that it should auto-update with the new patch but I loaded the game a couple of times today and I'm still on build 1037, v1.1.0  ???
I then tried downloading the patch from the shipsim website but when I run it, it 'Can't locate a valid Ship Simulator installation'. The game was installed into the default location so I'm guessing the problem is that I shouldn't be using the downloaded patch and instead relying on steam?

Any advice gratefully accepted!

Aha...
Cancel that request, steam finally woke up and applied the patch. Happy days...
