My chart/Radar is not working

Since I installed the latest patch my chart/radar screen is blank. Just a white square, not buttons to set the screen to max, not my own ship nothing. Just an empty white screen!
Anyone seen this and knows what the problem is. Before the path it was working OK.

Hey Paul,

VSTEP have been notified of this ODD bug, and are trying to find the cause and fix it 
It is even more odd as it was fine when the beta testers tested the patch but somehow to the general public it has decided not to play nice 

There are numerous topics now about all the patch bugs so if you're going to make a new post then please try and look around first!

I saw that there seems to be a quick patch to this problem but it's not official so it might not work.

About no chart and radar :

I removed the game (kept my profile) then ran registrycleaner
Reinstaled the game and paches (1.1/1.2) and then I had my map and radar back.
Hope this helps for others too.
