Nice to see some constructive critiscm. :)

Language like that isn't appreciated on here so perhaps you could edit your post or purchase a bottle of Fairy? :)

I haven't had any trouble with the game except for the bugs reported, that have been fixed in the patch.

Benz,

Rather than ranting and raving in your first ever post on the forum, why not take a moment to tell us why you are having problems, and maybe we could help you!

You won't get very far if you start posting profanity and the like as people will not want to help you.

So, we'll start again eh? ;)

Hell Benz welcome to the forums, what's the problem? :)

Many users of the software to encounter a number of problems, and equally a number of users encounter no problems at all, there is no doubt that there are various faults with the game but the game is still, to the best of my knowledge, going through what I like to call a post beta purchased stage. During this time the games problems are perfected, and yes, most importantly from a financial point of view it is rather annoying that these issues are not ironed out to begin with however every software company works in the same way, hence updates.
I must admit I do not agree with my learned friends here which try to deflate your anger by antagonising you further, this never gets the desired effect. I have noticed that a lot on these forums.
None the less they are accurate in their approach to an extent, I would like to know how long you have been waiting on a reply from the support section without any confirmation of receiving the request for support but I do have to commend ShipSim on their prompt assistance to me when I was requiring it when I used SS2008 under a different name.

I would also suggest to the admins that a sub forum for technical support would be best set up, if there is not one already

Best wishes!

There is indeed, and always has been, a technical support forum, for each of the released games..

You can find it here (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/board,101.0.html).

looks like we have another cry baby on the forum ...

1. Try using a spell checker
2. Read the forum or do a search
3. What is Ranting, Raving and being a Jerk going to achieve?
4. If you think you could create a better ship simulator, in less time, with more features and vessels, with a team the size of Vstep ... go into business and build it ... if not
"GET DOWN IN FRONT"

For those of you who won't understand that statement it is a phrase used in some British cinemas meaning "we can't enjoy this because you're in the way" in other words "shut up and sit down!"

I have made my feelings on this matter clear on several occasions.  Vstep have created this game/simulator, perhaps simugame would work better, in 2 years with a small team of developers FROM SCRATCH (perhaps Frank could verify that part).  The simugame isn't perfect and no simugame of this type will EVER be perfect.  I know there are bugs in the system and some of you aren't very happy.  If you are that unhappy and live in the United Kingom under the Sale of Goods act you can send this game back and vote with your wallet.  Thus killing Vstep and making sure that the rest of us have to put up with the simugame in whatever phase of development it was in at the time.

I am not investing in Vstep or in Ship Simulator Extremes when I gave them money out of my pocket.  I am giving them the money and thus investing in their team of developers without which you "Trolls" wouldn't have a simugame to moan, groan and whine about!

BeNz,

Please, calm down. There is no need to get annoyed or upset.

The problem with the multiplay issues will I believe be addressed in the next patch. I can assure you that they have already been reported.

Also the multiplayer servers were taking down this morning to update them to use the new patch, so if you try connecting now you should be able to connect to the VSTEP servers.

The AI also is down to the mission creator, and I know some missions have been updated recently to improve them.

Hope this helps,
Adam :)

SirExpression I believe that you sir are simply going to antagonise an issue, this is precisely why I left this forum about 2 years ago, there was too many people bad mouthing others, so I would then in turn I would respectfully suggest that you take your own advice and 'get down in front', calling people names does not achieve anything it only further antagonises an issue which will be resolved by the experts.

In the mean time Welcome to another new member interested in the world of the Merchant Marine, I hope you enjoy your stay and who knows you might even consider a career in the most modern and essential industry on the planet today.

Could i just point out to the condescending *** who likes to think he's so dam clever making idiotic remarks to ignite a reaction, that people are paying money for a product that really isn't worth what we are paying for, it was on the bones of it's rear with bugs (after release date) when pre beta testing should have been more thorough, it has had misleading advertising and look at it this way have you seen the ability of a lot of sims out there this day and age?? VSTEP know exactly what they are doing and made the mistake of providing screenshots of what their platform is capable of, you say get into business and build it, THEY ALREADY HAVE MATE! they have just cut it down and down and down until the base and are selling this, then next year something a bit better etc etc they are doing business in such a way they are going to milk this product until its dry at the nipples! As the saying goes 'its not the size that counts its what you do with it' and they know exactly what they are doing with it ;) SirXpression if he does live in the uk and bought the game via steam does your smarmy comment work the same way?

Question
I bought a game with my credit card through Steam and either don't like it or don't want it anymore. Can I get a refund?

Answer As with most software products, we will not offer refunds for purchases made online as outlined in the software license - please review Section 4 of the Steam Subscriber Agreement for more information.

Try voting with your virtual wallet!

I think that anyone is allowed to voice their opinion on this forum without idiots like you giving them grief and it really annoys me to see that people trying to say that they can't or shouldn't do exactly that! Fair enough the bad language side of things can go amiss or if you feel that strongly about it there is a symbol on your keyboard '*'

Regards.

Guys,

Please lets not get carried away here ;)

Benz is entitled to their opinion on this forum as is everyone else. However, posting in such a way to inflate such negative discussions is not advised.

Lets keep this happy and clean please!

Dooberry, Could I just point out to you that profanity and insulting is not allowed and that you're stooping to the same level with what you are doing at the moment?  ::)

And you should really try to get your facts straight too. But that's another matter. You are entitled to your opinion based upon you interpretation of the situation, wether or not you have the right idea about it, of course.

Anyway, congratulations on getting the topic locked. It's appearantly not going to be a nice chat in here, so let's not continue then.

SirXpression, this goes for you aswell, what you posted was uncalled for and inpolite. Please leave that kinda stuff aside aswell in the future.

Locked.
