Hi TJ

we all testers have the patch and wee are testing it and it will be finish when it will be realized in next week if all goes as planed, if a exact date are been given well  then all are start again with the nagging, it take time do test and fix, so if you like the hole v-step should answer on the forum instead for working with the simulator, ok but to not complain anymore then if it not will be realized in time

That's one wicked translation, it should've been: "Calm down! It's not the end of the world. It is really annoying but you can't do much about it"

That was Google's translation not mine.  ;D

Speaking of translations, when you said "That's one wicked translation..." I take that as a complement because here in New England wicked means awesome (or really if followed by awesome, as in "This game is wicked awesome!" meaning "This game is really awesome!" So I read your post as "That's one awesome translation...".

So, thanks for the complement!  ;D ;D

Tavares,
Estimates of a release date are a bad idea. For one thing, many on the forum won’t accept them as just that – a guess. Instead they interpret them as promises, and accuse VSTEP of “breaking” a promise.
Others will say the developers are incompetent because they cannot estimate accurately.

No one can say when the patch can be released until it is actually ready to be released. You need only read the many idiotic posts that appear when an estimate has to be revised to understand why VSTEP may be reluctant to make guesses.

Yup, she is wicked awesome!!! ;D

Back on topic... I hope the patch comes out this week. I know (or at least hope!) that V-Step is working hard to produce a "bug free" patch. But I am naturally a very impatience person, so for me this is taking forever to get done! I want a nice patch, so waiting the first week to help the Steam costumers was okay. But adding the additional improvements was too much. Those things could have waited for patch 1.3. Honestly I would not be suppressed if the patch is delayed another week.

Oh well, I hope this patch makes SSE wicked awesome!   ;)

Well, I don't think a lot of members would agree to have rather waited a month or maybe more for these updates, if they could have waited one more week instead to get it in the coming patch.

Plus, it weren't just the latest updates that took another week. that 'other thing' still isn't sorted as you can read in the news update. But the time is spent wisely in the mean time. The additional updates are an effect rather than a cause. But they will up the quality of the patch a lot.   :)

It's nothing but a scandal if the patch is delayed week after week because of this Steam issue :(

But if the mods are using the update for testing, how does it look, are you pleased with the result? What can we expect?

Well I can only speak for myself but it's looking pretty good indeed!

You can expect, well, the things that the changelog says, really. Lots things have been addressed.  :P

I hope so. All depends on a person's expectation level aswell.  ;D

It won't turn the game into Nautis, obviously. But a lot of grievances should be history after the patch, indeed!!

As a Beta tester, I too think the wait will be well worth being patient for. Whilst everything that players have mentioned (or complained about) will not be fixed at one go, an awful lot of stuff will be. The game will be good I can promise.

I'll be glad to recieve the update, and it will likely entertain me for another while, but I'll need to wait a few more months before the game can really keep me happy ;)

MVSmith,
In this case for sure I have to agree with you.

Awwwhh, what a pitty,

the hovercraft is still not hovering.  :'(  That´s what I bought this game for.

But,.. perhaps the reason is obvious... the engine seems to burn. The smoke coming out of the front steeringoutlets indicates some heavy problems. Back to base,.. fast. But,.. still not able to beach.. okay, got to have patience.

So, let´s keep a hand of water under our skirt.
