September 21st, 2010 - At 18:00h CET (9:00AM PST) today, VSTEP and Paradox Interactive released the new Ship Simulator Extremes demo. The demo contains two full playable missions, taken from both the Tourist Tales and Greenpeace campaigns in the game.
* The first mission has you captain a fast craft, as you take tourists on a guided evening tour around Sydney harbor. Be sure you make specific calls at the magnificent Opera House, The Rocks, Darling Island and more as you take in the beautiful scenery. Don’t forget to bring your passengers back to their cruise ship in time, because after all, time is money.
* The second mission puts you in the role of an activist as you sail the Greenpeace vessel 'Esperanza' to the Whale Sanctuary in the Antarctic to track down the whaling fleet. Take direct action and approach with your inflatable boats to disrupt and stop their illegal whaling activities.
The demo will be available today from 18:00h CET (9:00AM PST) onwards. You can download it from our demo page (http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/demos) on www.shipsim.com (http://www.shipsim.com/downloads/demos) (download links will only be live after the above time) or from Fileplanet (http://www.fileplanet.com/files/210000/216304.shtml), as well as other select mirror sites.
Hope you enjoy it!
