[The Ferry Man]

There was a Simmer called Firestar
Who drove around in a very fast car
He liked to drive
around beehives
But still never got very far

There was a young boy named Firestar,
Who once snuck into a bar,
A pint of this and a bottle of that.
The bar-tender came to pick up the glasses
To his surprise he found a youth,
Picked Shane up, fired him out
Now he has a bloody great mouth.

Anger

Anger boils up to cover your hurting.
When a friend turns to stab you
and breaks promise to you
there's pain from the flirting.
How bitter the cup.
Like a volcano you burn down deep.
Fuming and boiling within. Be angry, but don't sin.
Use reason, sanity keep. Fine peace again.
Laugh like crazy; madman's aspirin.
But it doesn't get rid of it all. It just buries it
deeper till it shoots up so tall that it
grows up again to heights hazy.
Spit it out. There's no other way to get rid
of the awful tyrant who took your heart like
a pirate. Listen to what I say and don't pout.
I see you suffer and I feel your pain.
I hear your heart break and I grieve for your
sake. My tears fall like rain for you, my dear friend

Friends Forever
You and I came from now where
From different places and cultures
It doesn't matter and but we do care
We can always share our adventures
We started with smiles and hellos
Getting to know you more
Surely our friendship grows
Your kindness has fascinated me

Alright.. here's my crappy songlyrics (I consider it poetry.. )

I was never worthy, but on the paper I am heard
You're leaving behind what I always desire
Still I find I'm in love with what you require

I left my forlorn past for my forlorn future
My idolatry for your opportunity
Am I the impediment for your resentment?

Each moment passes
Did you realize my devotion?
I need to know if I truley feel emotion
Please save me when I drown into the ocean..
I live the rest in fear and shame
Then I wonder why I was never the same

My heart is desolated
My innocence desecrated

Abhorrence always follows with indictment
Thus you're not afraid to kill me
Thought is but an impetuous gaze into reality
He struggles with the troubles of morality

This is an unfinished song I'm working on. It's called

To Reach the Clouds

I'm halfway between the earth and stars
I am the poet from which my innocence is born
To reach the clouds is to heal my scars
I am the few but I am not the lorn

An eternity below me lies those who are amazed by what I am
Only in my dream could something so beautiful be witnessed
To walk is to see what I turned into a reality

Arrest me for my defiance
The illicit arts are but my only passion
For I follow my own alliance
And death is but my only fashion

It's based upon Philippe Petit's high wire walk between the world trade center in the 70's.
