Very nice work!!

If you color the hull green on the second picture, and you have yourself a Sigita  ;)

Something about that SR.N4 doesn't look right... she doesn't 'feel' real

Wow, there're quite some ships on that site i would love to see in Shipsim...

So would Vstep theoretically be able to buy all those ships and convert them into Shipsim ships without much expense?

They also used that model of the SR.N4 also in Ports of Call 3D  :)

Well I reckon it's cheaper to buy a suited model than to pay a modeler in your employement the hours it takes to model it, in some cases. But the rest of the work is still plentiful and so it won't be thát much cheaper perhaps, depends on how long it takes to make a certain model, and how expensive the creator on TS made it..

But in theory, yes. Theorethically, anything's possible. They could theorethically put ships from google's sketchup warehouse in, if they wanted.

But there's a lot more to it than just having a nice model, obviously.  ;D

....Love the link, thanks. One will admit to liking some of the 3D models of the super yachts. Now they are something I wouldn't mind cruising around Bora Bora on, sadly the Marbella, sorry! Cartagena Delight just doesn't cut it.....I know, I know poor little Cartagena Delight  but she is no Pelorus, Lady Moura, Dubai or Eclipse. Still I suppose I could stick with the Pride of Rotterdam and pretend... what can I say, boys and their toys...lol  :2thumbs:

You mean that it looks like a 2d picture rather than several tonnes of metal with multiple gas turbine driven propellors...

Or that the 'hovermower' badge is missing?

Indeed, TFM... It doesn't look right- but I suspect that is a screen display problem with compressoroctopus than the actual model

I came up to a LNG Tanker. Looks Familiar?:
http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/lwo-lng-carrier-tanker--/412464

It could be, all though it might not.

The Ocean Prince has a heli-pad and lifeboats at the back of the ship.
Unless VSTEP added them ontop?

Also the skirt is too level - the back has a smaller inflated area then the front, making the craft rise more at the bow

I think you could be right about that one, it does also have 4 tanks instead of 5 in the earlier post, it looks more like the one in the game.

And yeah, the link really shows some neat models that wouldn't be bad in the game at all :)

edit: btw, what to think about this one: http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm?id=234593 looks also familiar ;D

No they will not automatically work with SSE. Creating a 3D model of a ship is only one of many (15, was it?) complicated steps needed to have a ship ready for SSE.

Like the previous poster said, they're not automatically working on SSE, but it is very likely VSTEP has bought themselves some of the models on this site, and I'm sure it was worth their while with the price they ask for the sim :)
