Application crash help
« on: August 31, 2010, 15:22:53 »

Hi, I recently bought SSE and I have put in the CD key and all that but after the loading screen it comes up with Application Crash saved to logfiles ect. I am running it on a Windows XP Intel Pentium 4 with a NVIDIA Geforce 2 MX/MX 400 Graphics card.

Im not sure if its the graphics card or what thats doing it.

Thanks

Hi there Juzzie,

Unfortunately I would say that your graphics card is not quite up to the job. Not sure about the rest of your system but I would say that is your issue.

Welcome to the forum by the way ;D

Hi Dave (Is this your name?),

Just took a look at your DXDIAG and it appears that you have onboard video. The onboard video chipsets are not really up to the job, especially for ship simulator extremes.

My recommendation to you would be to purchase an external graphics card that is capable of running ship simulator :)

Also why were you having trouble registering your license key?

Hope that helps and you may call me Adam ;D
