Easy question!!
« on: August 30, 2010, 02:12:18 »

Just finished the journey begins-01. At the end it says moor at designated Southampton pier. But there is no indication where the designated pier is. No waypoint, nothing. The only area that is not shallow enough is the Western docks but no mooring points. The mooring lights on the Ocean Star go out when I click on it. Anybody have any suggestion? Thanks.

This is a bit simple. Do you know the Red Funnel Ferry Terminal up in Southampton before the Southampton Container Terminal? Look a dock or two east and the dock is there. Here is a picture of the location:

Thanks matt, I tried that area but I guess I was too close to shore and got grounded. I will try and move the ship a little bit outside of the shoals. Have a great day.

VSTEP will try to lower the depth in a later patch for the mission, and Free roam and mostly everything. To avoid Landing, keep a further distance from the dock

Might I ask how you know this? ;)

Hi Matt, thanks again for the info. I went back and yes stayed out a little further and was able to dock the ship and complete the mission. And this time I did not ground the ship. lol. Have a great evening.

Matt, either you start linking in your posts, to the actual facts, or you stop posting to confirm things that you THINK will happen.

You post so many misconceptions, I really must ask you to stop posting your thoughts and wishes as if they are actual facts.

Either that, or post a link to an official source.

Deal?

Fred

Ok, I will hold you to that.

And I ám being serious though. If you keep posting non-factual material as factual, then from now on, they will be removed.

Because members that are new take your word for it since you've been around here for a while. And this is just how false rumours get started, and later on people will be expecting things that never were to be expected.

So, I hope you do indeed understand.

Thanks!

Fred.
