Steam version doesn't work

Hi,

I just bought SSE from steam, but it just don't work,
It starts up and then it seems to be loaded, but it just stays on the same screen,,,

And they say they are busy whith keys for steam versions of SSE, but how i get the key then, E-mail or something?

I just bought it too, dl now 88% completed. I'll report how it's running in here soon.

Yeah, no cd-key here either.
Usually Steam pops up at the just installed game launch and shows you the key for copying for clipboard to be pasted to application, but not in this case...
Someone, somewhere have fouled up badly...

Hi I reacently bought Ship Simulator extremes on steam, and well...
It says that my langauge is not supported. This confusled me in that my profile is set to the United Kingdom and well this is not funny so PLZ HELP!

same i got the SSE today and iv got a steam account  already open to EMPIRE TOTAL WAR but the SSE installed alright then it got to activation code bit and its saying its invalid  how can i get it working

Guys they will be activating codes at 21:00 CET time then it should work

ok in my case the activation keys worked. but after creating a profil i just see the famous screen with the waves. is there a solution for this problem? tried re-installation several times, didn't succeed.

I never got the "not supported language error" whilst installing (got just bunch of other errors), but my Steam is  running on the very international language of finnish, so finnish as an language must be very supported and common.

I've got 100% finnish interface on Steam, so the problem is about people who is in UK. so the system just allows non-britons to join?

''SSE gives me errors and doesn't start up. It gives me following errors or notification windows which i have to close to move on to next error:
MWDRCC.dll
CustomCommand.dll
CustomTextOperator.dll
CustomValveOperator.dll

Then comes up the QuestViewer and when i close that then nothing happens. Game just doesn't start up at all.

some one on the steam forums have the same problem, but he just started windows again and it worked, by my it just dont work, Anyone another idea?

so my current problem with the steam version is that after i start the game i get a black screen and that's it. before i got the "black screen" i had the problem with the "blue wave screen" i think you all know what i'm talking about. i deleted the shipsim userdata to fix the "wave screen" problem because i read this would help in the german forum. but that's totally wrong. i got the "black screen". and after some reinstallations i still have the black screen because the setup doesn't create a new userdata folder. can i ever play this f****** game?

Exactly what is happening to me, although i didnt delete any files, now on my 6th install, not getting my hopes up. Seem to be going backwards n making things worse!

In the same 'Boat' pardon the pun ! Error msg telling me my language is not supported in the licence check box. I'm from the UK and settings on English. Please can i have an idea when this particular problem will be sorted .. many thanks in advance.

With the steam version i think you should ask steam about this, sorry ve cant help about steam,

i got my SSE yesterday and its never worked its getting ti the activation code bit but when i put the code in its saying invalide do i need to take it back and get another game or just wait intil problem is sorted i really want to play  cant wait
