Printer problems!!

Hi all,

As you may know I recently got this new computer - however, the printer is a few years old, and the disk with the software on will not install (I assume because it just isn't compatible with Win7).

Is there any way I can get around this? I saw something on "Giveawayoftheday" a while ago which appeared to be software you could use with any printer...but maybe I misread it. Something like this would be ideal, as i'm slightly concerned at the moment since i'm going back to school soon and need to print off my work

Maybe the website of your printer's manufactorer still offers support and drivers for download. They often do.

Hi Jack,

Perhaps you can try to install it under compatibility modus. Right click on the installation file, properties -> compatibility modus. Try to select WinXP or something

I'll try that! Thanks a lot! I'll let you know what happens.

If not, i'll try Freds idea of looking on the site...Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.
