The open sea - this is when a ship slips into a daily routine, I know people whom have been in open sea for 3 weeks and not seen another ship. Live is slow and easy.
The real work onboard starts once you are within 50 miles of land, and for us on the ferry this means that we never stop.
It's ashame about not being able to moor yet, but it will come, as all good things do. So here's waiting for the programmers to fill our stockings at Christmas
