Here is a sneak preview of the how the ship sinks in the upcoming patch.

As a sailor I absolutely do not enjoy watching ships sink... so I tried to take a few shots while closing my eyes...

no tell , what more will it be in the patch , will it be more realistic bridges, more instruments and so. or are the only thing that,s fixed ship sinking and score ?

I see a "mission failed" thing pops up after sinking. Will that window pop up in free mode too? Or is that already in free mode?

Hi dragongfx!

I cannot garantee that all the following features will be in the patch, but as you can see from the pictures posted around the forum there are several

new instruments:
- rudder indicators
- compas
- rev counters
- radars
- VHFs (only for decoration so far)

New vessels:
- Hovercraft
- Jetski

New features:
- Save function
- Ranks
- Internet stats
- Sinking
- Mission editor
- Relative speed condition (when transferring people and connecting lines)

Fixes:
Mission bugs
Better ship's dynamics
Ship's nav. lights

Hmm... I guess that was all what I could think of...

To clerify things i was talking to DJM, and the coming features are as follows.
The hovercraft and jetski
the new bridges
the new scoring system
the little bug fixes
the sinking part
thats all that i can think of right now.

I should've explained a little more, it was roughly 4 minutes from last hit into the wall to final sinking

Indeed, I guess it depends on where she first starts taking on water.......only guessing though

It was, just tried the Water Taxi in Mission mode, sinks quicker, but it is a smaller vessel
