If you purchased it off ShipSim.com (Pre order) the download links and licence keys will be on the "My Orders" page, where you can re download at anytime on to your new computer. :)

You can download it on 27th and just store it on a flashdrive. And when you're gonna install it, just login to your shipsim.com account to see the serial(s).

Well when you go under "My Orders," there is a link to the exe. Just click on the blue name of the item you have purchased and you can download it. I had to do that a few times when I got my new laptop to get the New Horizions, Elbe, and Furie. So you can download when you please :) Hope this helps.

Once you d/load the program to your computer, you can always burn the .exe file to a DVD.  That way you'll have it whenever you need it (re-install because of a crashed computer or files that get corrupted).  That's what I plan to do.  I write the activation code right on the disk, so I won't loose it.

Well if SSE operates in a similar fashion to SS08, then you would be able to copy across the Profile folder to keep your saved games.

You would need to reinstall the game itself though :)

Here's what you can do. I feel like putting it in steps :)

1.) Make sure you have the download under "My Orders" on http://www.shipsim.com

2.) Make sure your key works and the download can be run without errors

3.) To install on a new computer, make sure the game is not on the previous computer(I think there's something about installing the game on multiple computers)

4.) Go back to "My Orders" and click on the blue links.

I have included a picture of the links that I'm talking about. They have been circled
