I think it could work!!

Shouldn't be too much to create another couple of frames in blue and red, to recreate the 3D effect. But hey, it's a good idea!

Now go and buy some 3D glasses peeps! :)

Actually... it's not just an idea.

Here, this is what I said on the Atlantic Sun Airways forum at the same time:

I just thought that you might be interested in one of the newer features for NVidia cards. If you just happen to have a pair of 3D glasses in your desk (doesn't everyone! 8) ) you can turn on 3D rendering from your NVidia control panel.

I took this screenshot last night leaving Boston. (I know my gear shouldn't really be down, but I thought it added to the effect.)

It's not really all that good for flying with because of the bad color... It's just neat.

i tried it with a pair of the channel 4's 3D week, and they didn't work, i will see if the pics you took work with them.

The plane works the best, the other two arn't realy that good in 3d,

Sigh... Mine is a 1900x1080 @ 60hz. unless you are referring to something else other than the refresh rate than... it only refreshes 60 times a second not 1.2 billion times a second.

Again, I just thought that you might be interested in one of the newer features for NVidia cards. If you just happen to have a pair of 3D glasses in your desk (doesn't everyone! Cool ) you can turn on 3D rendering from your NVidia control panel.

If you really want to know more you can PM me.

very cool idea, i dont have any 3D glasses floating around to see how it looks and i'm pretty sure my NVIDIA card is too old for that feature ::)

Pfft, why make people wear glasses when we're already looking into autostereoscopy?
