Hey guys, I was bored so I thought of this..

Walk us through your average day.. what you do and when you do it.. I'm sure this could get quite interesting.

Well, my day usualy is pretty typical, wake up at 10:00 eat a bowl of cerael,get some clothes on, call my freind trey to see if i can come over, and if i cant i just ride my bike for like 1 hr,go get on the computer talk to some freinds on myspace, lay down on my bed till dinner, eat dinner, talk on myspace till like 2:30 cuz this one person wont leave me alone. thene i got to bed.

Typical day for me

lol mine is probaly  7:00am wake up and go on computer then at  10:00am SKATE PARK!!!!! 12:00 sit down the quay for 15mins 12:15PM More computer and TV 3:00PM SKATE PARK!!!!!!!   7:30PM come home and go on computer 9:00PM bed time

lately this has been my typical day: 2-3pm get out of bed, eat some bred. Then I go see an episode of something check the different forums and emails. At around 5pm I go for a drive in my car, talk to a couple of friends. Then I go home and just watch tv, sit at the computer. Then a nice shower before I go to work at 10-11pm. Sit and bore the hell out of me till around 6 am. Get home and take another shower, and just watch series while I wait for the redbull effect go away(I fill up with that stuff while I work). so around 7-8 am I try to sleep.
And as you can see day and night are switched around, really sucks.

school day - wake up at 8am in time to catch the bus at 08:20am, get home from school at 4pm, go farming, 6pm on the computer
saturday, get up at 7:30am for work, 1pm, computer
sunday, depends what time i get to sleep the night before, normally around 2-3am.. but i just go on the computer all day
holidays - farm, then computer

Every day is different for me.

Only kidding, I'll post in a little bit.

I shouldn't really complain, sometimes I work from around 4pm to 6am, that's what I call, though you get a smile on your face, when you think about the money you get.

If its on a school day...

Get up at quater past 7. Yawn. Stretch. Moan. Get changed. Have Breakfast. Brush teeth. Mum drives me to school. Breaks my free time. Lunch is where i'm up with the prefects making sure everyone is where they should be (I was made head boy about a month or two ago now). But just because i'm head boy doesn't mean I sit in a big leather chair stroking a white cat...I go up with the prefects too, throwing people down the stairs and having entertaining arguments with year 7's

If its a weekend though..

Get up at around 9 O'clock. Switch computer on. Check Emails/IJTS/Ship Sim.......pop down to the boat/go out on the boat, watch the ferries come in/out. Go to sleep

So. That's my life story in a nutshell!

Man, I really wish I coud d that  I will be gone outta this town of tourism in the middle of missouri after highschool (or collage) And you can guess where im goin, straight to salty air~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....

Not only about the money but also because a sea watch during night time is very cool. Nobody bothering you, radio plays gentle in the background, lot of stars on a clear night

For me, no two days onboard are ever the same.

Today, woke up at 0700, breakfast with captain and chief officer, some paperwork from 0800 to 0830 then we had a fire drill from 0830 to 0930, this morning's drill was a fire in the galley so as i was not directly involved in the firefighting operation I was the "umpire", which means that I had to decide where the fire was and how the situation developed.

After that we did some routine testing of fire alarms and safety equipment and then the e-mails started to come in from the office with requests for information about spare parts orders etc, so the last few hours have been spent in my office.

I am just about to go for lunch and then I have to prepare some handover notes for my relief who will join tonight for a 4 day handover.

My typical day:

6:00 AM: Wake up and eat some breakfast, drive to work
7:00 AM-3:15PM: Pull cables and connect sockets,switches,engines and other equipment on new ferries.
3:15PM-4:00PM:Drive home
4:00PM-11:00PM: Eat dinner,check email and what's new on different web pages,sometimes drive to the city and watch cruise ships,visit some friends,watch tv-shows and then

Summer weekdays Wake at 8 get on the lightrail at 9 to be at work at 9.30 (AM) Work from 9.30 to 6 I get hom at 7 ish unless I sleep on the boat, have dinner check facebook then have ice cream and sleep
Weekend Go out on boat or do side jons ie wash boats

School; Year Weekdays go to school

I am just about to go for lunch and then I have to prepare some handover notes for my relief who will join tonight for a 4 day handover.

4 day handover? My reliever get's 1 hour where he can ask me everything he likes to know, including a round on the bridge and CCR, and then it's off to the gangway!

Yeah, it will break my heart to be back in the UK on Wednesday with my relief onboard and still not being able to get off!  When I joined the ship I had 30 minutes and a few pages of notes.

In my case it is, see I don't have a very nice job.
The pay is good enough, but I'd rather be doing something else. After a night of dealing with drunk teenagers, I just can't wait to get home.
I've been hoping to get a job as security somewhere, going to send a couple of emails.
