and McG i've just checked and there are not any bollards in the east cowes terminal

In free roam in Rotterdam and Marseille you also have quiet a few bollards  ;)

the ship sim support team just confirmed there is no multiplayer voice communication in the system and they dont know whether mooring is possible

Everybody uses different ones. Perhaps Jack can enlighten us on the server for IJTS

(I don't use Teamspeak, I think my parents would think I'm going mad and talking to myself)

The IJTS TS server is off at the moment. I'm not sure when it's back online, VH94 is hosting the TS server and is currently on holiday  ;)
