The Mist, I still find it a movie to get scared about. (Giant freakin' Aliens outside wall-mart, who eat Humans.) Altrough, I like Stephen King's books very much.

the scaryest movie i've ever seen was 'Raptor' it was more a disqusting movie then it was scary, the guy who made it didnt have a weak stomach  ;D

The film which really scared me was Candyman. I first saw it when I was 14 or 15 (the film was rated 18). However when I bought a DVD of the film last year and watched it again for the first time in 15 years, I was not really scared at all. Guess that's why we have these age classification on films.... :doh:

The Excorist (1973) is a very good scary film, and make sure you get the version with the infamous 'spider walk'.

2012 is excellent!  Special effects are amazing!  I loved it....if you like that one, try "The Day After Tomorrow"...same vein - end of the world (sorta).  Good special effects in this one too!

Im not realy into scary movies so mines probaly Cloverfield, just because its kinda bloody and suspenceful.

Also, if you want just plain creepy...try "The Cave"....good effects.
