Hi Markus,

As far as i'm aware Pre-orders are supposed to be today alright...as for what time, I don't think anyone knows. I'd imagine it's a matter of V-STEP editing the site or putting up the edited version with pre-orders available. I'm sure you'll find out fairly quickly from eagle eyed members when that happens...!

Jack.

Hi Jack! Thank you!

And when do you think it will be avalible?

Best Regards
Markus

uhhh guys....
sorry but....
now would i be able too pre-order SSE from www.amazon.com?
Not too sound disrespectfull but i do not trust the shipsim site. :C..
ive ordered several products at their home sites and some never arrived and 2 arrived in terrible condition :'(
I live around 4284 NM away from rotterdam, and if SSE arrived in not good condition i might as wel order it from amazon.com.
The reason why will not dowload sse is because my home internet is 3MB per minute.
5GB???? that will take more then 2 days..

Now i need some help here  about hi i should pre-order SSE.

Kind Regards

Sorry to expand on this but a 3mb connection would not take 2 days to download. This is because VSTEP will compress the setup file in a ZIP folder, so actually  you will probably be only downloading about 4.2GB. I know it's still a large file, but 3MB shouldn't take too long.

Sorry to expand this too, but oceandream was talking (with humour) about a connection of 3Mbits ... per minute, not per second :-) This gives a download rate of appx 50 kbits / second, and I must agree with oceandream : downloading 5gb at 50 kbits  / second will be quite long  ;D (28 hours or so, if the connexion doesn't drop in beetween !)

Well I didn't detect any humour in his post but I did fail to notice the 3mb per MINUTE. Yes you are right about that :) I really wouldn't have thought that he would have a 50kb connection though, as most users who are on the internet these days are connected via broadband, which will give you at least 100kb download speed in most cases.

Oceandream, how fast is your internet connection and are you connected via broadband?

As far as I know there is only one site, the English one.
And as of yet there has been no option to pre order the game.

Ahoy saltydog and others,
No, it's not. In an Answer from Vstep due to a question by me concerning that (pre-order) matter Vstep stated that the Pre-Oreder would start today.
On the Mainpage of ShipSim.com it still says Pre-order soon available.
So I did fill out a new contact form and will let you know what the Answer to that will be.

I don't think it's possible to run out of downloadable copies ::)
That will not be the reason, because the pre-order date is NOT the date of purchase

Kind Regards
Aad

Hi Aad,

I think what Saltydog and myself wanted to say, is that pro-ordering the game today or in one week won't make you receive the game sooner, as it isn't released yet ...  :)
