Pre-orders?
« on: July 31, 2010, 16:30:56 »

Does anyone know when the pre-orders start?

I'm getting a little impatient because of this  :-\

uhhh guys....
sorry but....
now would i be able too pre-order SSE from www.amazon.com?
Not too sound disrespectfull but i do not trust the shipsim site. :C..
ive ordered several products at their home sites and some never arrived and 2 arrived in terrible condition :'(
I live around 4284 NM away from rotterdam, and if SSE arrived in not good condition i might as wel order it from amazon.com.
The reason why will not dowload sse is because my home internet is 3MB per minute.
5GB???? that will take more then 2 days..

Now i need some help here  about hi i should pre-order SSE.

Kind Regards

You only get the extra fishing vessel if you pre-order via the shipsim site. If packages never arrived or in bad condition, you should have contacted Vstep about this immidiatly.  :)

It doesn't matter from who you bought it. If the package arrives in bad condition or doesn't arrive at all you should always contact the person or company who sold it to you  :) It could also happen very well if you buy something from Amazon.

I would still get the ShipSim preorder digital download version if I was you. When you live that far away it will take far more than the 2 days of downloading to get the boxed preorder version from vStep, and the non-preorder-version from Amazon might get caught up in the postal system as well. Or get a friend/workmate/library/university with higher bandwidth to download it for you. If I'm not home when it is released, I'll be stuck with a 150kb line (EDGE modem).. wonder how long THAT will take.

It has been possible to "preorder" SSE from Amazon since 2009, but then you are only reserving a copy of the game from the first (if still available) batch that arrives at Amazon.

I've recieved bad stuff from Amazon as well, was a complete amazon-junkie the year I lived in germany, and with 100s of shipments, some were bound to be bad sooner or later. Same with other shops. Never was a problem getting it sorted out though.

Hi
I think the same as ballast if something is delivered in bad condition I will not sign for it
V-step make the game I think you will find that they have nothing to do with the ordering
and shipping.
Isnt that the job paradox do? anyway I would rather order from the site than bother giving
someone else the order but thats me .
Over the years v-step have posted me the games and books by post from them to england
were I live andthey have allways arrived in very good condition

I still don't know what to do  :-\  Download version or boxed. Hmmmm  ???
Like I said I prefer boxed as it looks really cool to have.

Yeah, right! I've decided.

Pre-order, donation edition, boxed version of SSE

Lol, Tell me what everythings like anyone who downloads it, especially Antarctica

And are pre-orders really tommorow?!
Or as TFM would say today in Asia

Don't remind me plz ;( lol but if Vstep decide to bring it out in the shipyard i would buy it, i don't see it as much of a loss though as it is such a great game without it and i'm not really into fishing vessels.

Hi Markus,

As far as i'm aware Pre-orders are supposed to be today alright...as for what time, I don't think anyone knows. I'd imagine it's a matter of V-STEP editing the site or putting up the edited version with pre-orders available. I'm sure you'll find out fairly quickly from eagle eyed members when that happens...!
