A new horn for the Ocean Star?

Hi again, i have just come off my cruise on the grand princess for two weeks in the Med. Whislt on the ship I noticed that cruise ships have very loud horns. On ship simulator the Pride of Rotterdams horn is brilliant, loud noisey etc. Ocean star's is pretty rubbish so im wanting to ask ship simulator if they may put a nice good horn like on the pride of rotterdam on the ocean star

Did you downloaded the free horn add-on pack from the shipshim website? With the add-on pack, the horns sounds much better. If that's not the sound you're looking for, you can always copy the horn file of the Pride of Rotterdam to the Ocean Star!

I would like to give it a horn like on the Queen Mary 2, I have a recording of it somewhere i wonder if that is possible?

The add-on pack, together with a cool radio add-on pack can be found here

The horn file of the Pride is located at Vstep\ShipSim2008\Actors\Objects\Pride_Of_Rotterdam on your computer. Copy the horn file to the Ocean Star map. Make sure you make a back-up of the old horn file of the Ocean Star. In case of any problems you can replace it.

Ahoy Thomas,
The horn sounds great  , BUT to be usable in Ship Simulator it has to be in a wav. format instead of the wma. format   . Renaming the wma to wav will play in the Windows Mediaplayer, but will give NO sound in the Ship Simulator. So, the file has to be converted first.
