Hey there Battle. We cannot yet sink ships we have to wait for the patch on the 31st which will introduce some new features and fix some buggies. If we hit an iceberg right now without the sinking patch we kinda just bounce off it.

Yes in real life. But nobody except the beta-testers can test this. So we don't really know for sure ;)

It should be possible to sink the ships with the new patch if your hull is damaged below the waterline. I haven't tried it myself, but it should work...  ;)

Will a bilge alarm function be added to the patch ? to allow the skipper to be aware that the vessel is taking on water? Or will the first you know about the ship being holed is when waves break over the bridge?

that would be cool though , esp if they can add a feature where the hull can be breached by going aground on shallows on deeper draught vessels, also you could have loads of fun un-grounding grounded vessels ( its relatively easy irl ) but there are a lot of hydro dynamics involved:-)
