wooooow good ship :2thumbs:
we can only if it might come
there is nothing like a dream
I personally think that ccl is better than rcl
because they dont always think about the size
of the ship and Carnival Cruise is the best for it
Carnival cruise line is my 1#
but it is a bit big
what about this ship:

Oh lord  :o  ::) ::) ::)

What is our world coming to  ::)  You've got to draw the line somewhere, I drew that line before Oasis of the Seas came along   I mean it's a good design and i Love the trolley system, but you shouldn't need one in the first place,  I can just see it now people who can't be bothered to walk from one end of the ship to the other, or simply just because it's too large!!

For me, it takes the good old spirit and fun out of a cruise  :-\   I prefer the older liners as they've got more "quirks" to them.
For me ships like the Thomson Destiny are a perfect example of what  a cruise ship should be...
www.visualships.com/ThomsonDestiny.htm

A fantastic layout, and I know the captain quite well, and he always told me that the smaller the ship the better the atmosphere, friendlier etc.  Next Summer I will be going on the Azura, which has many sister ships in the grand class. Fair enough they are modern, but they're not built to last like the older ships.
At this rate, the day I become a Captain, it will probably be one of these futuristic shockers  :o
Another thing which is true, on a 7 night cruise on an older ship, you will problably recognize a particular person to say hello to maybe 3/4 times. On a newer ship it's a completely different story.
If I run a cruise ship I will really enjoy socializing with the passengers, like we are a small little family, but it would be ridiculous if I have to get a Segway to meet all the passengers!

My view on cruising in the future is exactly like the film Wall·e!!
It's a sad ending, but all human beings will end up like it  :-\ :(

That's my view  :-\

Kind Regards

Matthew Brown

EDIT: Another relly good thing which is unfortuantely of the past now, is that the bridge wings used to be outside, and you could wave down to the captain and have a chat! They're all sealed up now :(

what if Vstep disigned it in a way
so the monorail really works
that would make it easier to move to location?
wouldnt it?

I don't mean to walk around in free mode, I think the monorail defeats the whole idea of having a deck to walk on. ::)

I mean I wouldn't like to pilot such a large ship that's all. :)

I doubt the monorail would be very helpful if the power went out. Decks don't break down.

I like it. It looks really nice and i like the trolley system too. I gotta say i love that cruise ships are progressing into more creative designs.. its better than having ships always looking the same.

Well, Norweigian Epic, is definitely ugly, in MY opinion, but its still a change. Who knows, maybe all cruise ships will end up like this someday! :o
