Why not just open a new tab..?

Because its almost a standard and its easier, the way I suggested. Not even all people know how to use tabs, and I know a lot

Frank, I would suggest something. In the new website, when we click in Forum, is there a way to open in a new tab? Just because we may want to keep the website open to see the news, or stuff like that. Is just a suggestion :2thumbs:

To open the forum in a new tab just press the 'ctrl' key as you click on 'forum'.

I think they should recreate Vstep's offices and make it into a minigame, like www.gorillaz.com (http://www.gorillaz.com) has done

Except it would probably take longer to make that than SSE  ;D

But how about an interactive 2D bridge? You click on the radar screen, and it shows the news, and there could be a computer in the corner, which you click on to get to the forum...

We have a site already, I'm happy with it ;D

SS2012 though? ;D

When viewing screenshots on SSE section: they still keep on moving to the left or right even after loading the selected screenshot &/or after the mouse cursor is not on them.
I mean, is that for some purpose or will be fixed soon?  Because on old site they stop moving when you click on the image or take away the cursor from them.

Is it just me, or is something missing from this Homepage.. It feels like its empty.. Other than that it looks good.

I've noticed this...

http://www.forum.shipsim.com (http://www.forum.shipsim.com) now links to Vstep's website, and http://forum.shipsim.com (http://forum.shipsim.com) forgets the user login.

Try this. It functions correctly.

I just have to type '80' into the URL bar now and it comes up. Or you could set it as your homepage...

The new site looks great! I love all the images. One question I have is, will the be a features section for the games to show ships and how the game acts?

I think they should have a timeline thing, with the same image created in SS06/SS08/Extremes, where they show (for example) P6 moored up in Rotterdam somewhere in SS06, then have the vessel in the same position in 08 and Extremes, and make a little flash on the site, with a slider, so you can fade from one to the other...

That way, you can see the improvements in graphics easy...
