Sea Shepherd New York Visit
« on: April 27, 2010, 21:35:02 »

I just thought it might be quite useful for any American SS fans to know that Sea Shepherd is currently in New York & New Jersey offering shipboard tours and gifts etc! Can you imagine if you lived in NYK and missed out on it?!  :o

Please post any photos here if you have any  :2thumbs:

P.S. this is not a topic to start talking about the AI whaling ships in extremes, which you think is better, greenpeace or sea shepherd. Its not  a whaling topic full stop!  :2thumbs: (Ive seen bad things happen before!)

But anyway here is the info

Sea Shepherd’s Steve Irwin Coming to New Jersey and New York

Sea Shepherd’s flag ship, the Steve Irwin, is making a brief stop in the United States before continuing on to the Mediterranean to commence with the upcoming campaign to defend critically endangered bluefin tuna populations.

Please come meet the crew of the Steve Irwin, donate, take a tour of the ship, and show your support for Sea Shepherd’s numerous ocean defense campaigns!  This is a unique opportunity and the vessel’s first visit to the U.S. since joining the fleet of Neptune’s Navy.

Ship tours will run daily from 10 AM- 3 PM. Merchandise will be available.

Additionally, Sea Shepherd is hosting a fundraising event on April 30th with Captain Paul Watson. Please click here for more information.

Believe me.. no you don't.

It's an extremely dangerous place with a hugely elevated level of crime. There's some nice parts of it, but there's some very bad parts too.

The crime level has just increased while Sea Shepherd arrived...  ;D

I'll be in New York in August myself. I'm pretty confident it's not more 'dangerous' than Amsterdam or England  :)

Stay outta the Bronx. Gets pretty rough there. ;)
Oh, so you live in New York!?
I thought you were located in my backyard.. ???
A little bit disapointed :(

But hey, maybe I'll show up in your wardrobe sometime!

Helicopter fishing. 'Hey look, this thing's huge! Wait, It's a shark!'

*helicopter tips trying to lift the shark, blades hit the water and...*

CRASH!!!

Let's go to New York and get a new helicopter. Then we'll try again.
