It's horrible to die at sea, just think, you can't see nothing but your sinking ship, and whatever it struck. No offense, Salty but that was disreaspectful to those lost onboard the Titanic.  :-\

in remove the Titanic in future games. Have a buyer less. Know That You Can add more ships Without Removing Others That This Is Not GTA mod.  :-[

So I guess May 6 is next..
May 6th is the Hindenburg disaster and exactly a day after is this:

And I don't know why everyone is wanting Titanic out of Extremes. VStep can get rid of high poly stuff from her, including the 2nd class staircase at stern. They can add a usable ladder that leads from a to b decks. I did notice that Mose of the whole Titanic kind of take some fps, but the 2nd Class Stairwell on slow or fast computers shows a fps drop.

I would rather have VSTEP spending time working on new interesting stuff (like a floating crane) than removing Titanics staircase

You are forgetting the many Titanic Fanatics who want Jason to add even more interior. You can’t please everyone.
I think a sensible compromise would be to leave Titanic out of the release and to make it available from the Shipyard for those who want it enough to purchase it.

Considering they had to rebuild all the ships, they aren't going to rebuild Titanic if nobod yuses her. They would rather build something people WILL use. Like SR-N4...

That said, I do think there should be a liner of that period, but perhaps one of the faster ships to please the less experienced users.

I like Marty's idea of releasing Titanic through the Shipyard, at Vstep's leisure.

Cough!

They could put her on Shipyard instead of including in SSE or in future.
More place would be for floating cranes, dredgers, average tankers, VSP escort tugs, SR.N4 (beat you, Magerkin!), new AHTS, PSV, CSV, stand-by vessels...

Here's what I don't get: How does it HARM you to have the Titanic included? If someone doesn't like it, then just don't use it. A lot of people are like "I hate SS because it has Titanic". How does that make it any worse? Like, seriously. If you don't like it, just don't use it. I've never seen someone say "I don't like SS because it has the Pride of Rotterdam". They just do it to get the Titanic fans upset or so that they won't seem like 'all the rest'.

Isn't it better to have MORE ships available by default? Don't forget, a lot of people bought this game for the purpose of sailing the Titanic. A lot of people won't admit it, but it's true. I'm sure SS didn't loose any customers because it had Titanic included..::)

It "harms" us because we suddenly get a forum full of Titanic topics such as "campaign for a whole new light on the Titanic!" and "oh no! a bench is missing on the Titanic! change it or I will force a boycott against all VSTEP products!". Besides, she doesn't add any value to the game as a simulator. Not many people training for a career at sea are going to be working on a steam powered ocean liner. As people have said before, it would benefit more players if VSTEP were to spend time on things that are of use such as floating cranes and general cargo ships instead of modifying Titanic which I think is required to get the ship from SS08 to SSE?. The only downside I can see at the moment is that the large amount of time that has been spent on the current model would be put to waste. But, going back to the beginning of my post, Titanic really is just eyecandy in my opinion.

P.S I don't not like Titanic, it's a beautiful ship.....and that's it ;)

Hi Nathan,

You could add another irritation: Those endless demands for her sisters. Especially from those that claim it requires only a simple repaint, oh and maybe some more lifeboats and removing the enclosure of the promenade deck.
I had to explain to someone via PM that the lifeboats aren’t painted on.

Actually, Titanic is one of the better ships for learning to navigate well, but I suspect few people bother. There have been few good missions for her, except for the plethora of mission the CMMs receive consisting only of one or more Titanics and one or more icebergs.

It is a beautiful model, but it requires a large amount of work to get it into Extremes. If she were actually used, I would say it might be worth the effort.

Regards,
Marty

Please do not leave. :)

I can assure you, they are not taking Titanic out of SSEx. It's just a few members here who like to get people upset by claiming VSTEP should remove her. Clearly it's worked to drive people away. >:(

but in the end you want to remove the Titanic games get better future can not be here when that happens. and why not by The Shipyard, because there are people like me who do not have a credit card or PayPal to buy it. why can not buy or Elbe nor Furie.  and I can not play them funny.  :-[

No it isn't...

That's the harsh reality of life, people die...Granted, Titanic was a big maritime disaster, but it was almost 100 years ago, and there have been greater losses of life both at sea and on land :-\

As SD said, 'Titanic' was jazzed up by the movie, the idea of two people who never existed falling in love and all that lot...Sure, She was one of the biggest floating objects on the sea in her time, and she sank. That makes news. And it still does. It was tragic. But if it were not for the movie, I do not think Titanic would of captured peoples imaginations as it has done now - not in the 'Modern World', so to speak.
