If someone needs to say something "useful" & "not heard before", bear in mind that it has been mostly all said here (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,13724.0.html) & there (http://80.95.161.114/shipsim/forum/index.php/topic,7070.0.html).   So think of something new/interesting/original every year.  Otherwise it'll be plain boring.

Im sure if she wouldn't be founded at the ocean you wouldnt and other's won't even think or be interested about the story. The found of Titanic is the best thing happend to her. And the bodies in the ship is gone. The sea has removed it

Some guys found her some years ago and made a docu, since then she rusts in peace..
The Britannic looks more alive, with all kinds of marine-life growing on her..

The good side will be that there won't be > 40 pages of results after searching by "Titanic".

Titanic will never be forgotten. I think that is why VStep put her in Ship Simulator, to keep her story alive. She set history on a different course after a loss of 1517 passengers.

Rest in Peace Titanic

Or perhaps it was a good money earner as everyone knows about Titanic and they'd want to buy the game more. :P

RIP everyone who died.

Hi All
My own thoughts on this titanic as a player vessel is of no value at all there are very few
missions that have been made or include her.
So if v-step were to leave the old lady out of extremes and put something more usable I
for one would be very happy.

Blasphemy..!
But I agree..It was nice to have the old lady in SS08, but I don't need to see her in future editions..

Agreed!

Titanic is an FPS Killer, on multiplayer in particular. Maybe yes, she's a benefit to the game, because the vast majority of people know of the Titanic (Ie, the Movie ::)), and draws sales from that particular audience...The model is fantastic, but, I personally do not feel, as you say Eric, that she has great use, or significance, with the vast majority of the community here....I think.

I personally feel in exchange for Titanic, it would be nice to see for example, another Ferry. Something that people will use. Especially with the new Dover/Calais Environment!

Agreed!

They could put her on Shipyard instead of including in SSE or in future.
More place would be for floating cranes, dredgers, average tankers, VSP escort tugs, SR.N4 (beat you, Magerkin!), new AHTS, PSV, CSV, stand-by vessels...

The SS United States would be nice too, or the SS Rotterdam..
But I have a soft spot for VSP's, so it would be great to have a VSP tug in the future.. :)

SR.N4 (beat you, Magerkin!)

No you didn't. I just wouldn't be posting ship requests on a topic which is in rememberance of those who died on Titanic.

Then why not to use any of these 2 mentioned topics, change the title & continue posting there than starting every year a new one to repeat all what was said before?
