First, you need to register your serial key for SS 2008 into your profile to get access to Technical support and other boards.
Unfortunately, installing the wrong version of QuestViewer means that you must completely remove Ship Simulator 2008 and reinstall it. There is a topic on the Technical support board that deals with QuestViewer messages.
After you have access to the other boards, you should read the bold blue topics at the top of the various boards, especially those on Technical support and Missions.
After removing SS, you should reinstall and then follow Terry’s flowchart for updating.
After I see that you have registered your key, I’ll move this topic to Technical support.
