How to stop REAL bugs crawling on my screen?

Hey, since getting my new monitor I've constantly had to whack bugs off it with a cloth or piece of paper, this is the first time this has happened to me, it never happened on my old LCD monitor or my current television.

I tried Googling, but all I got were computer bug infections, viruses, etc. No I mean real bugs! Not pixel ones.

So all I'm asking is does anyone have their methods for preventing bugs from being attracted to their monitors? As I'm getting tired of having to whack them off.

Try having another lamp somewhere, preferably with a wavelength most attractive to bugs.

I know a bit about insects, could you post a picture of the insect on your screen? if so, I COULD look up the insect and find what attracts that speceis.
maybe moths, a small speices. or midges, these are commonly attracted to static electricety, and like many insects, lights.

I used to get bugs on my old laptop screen, tiny mites I think.

They weren't there very often but it was quite annoying when a speck of dirt suddenly gets up, starts walking around and reading what I'm typing.    Must be a new military technique of gathering intelligence - tiny robobugs.

try puttting a little bit of Dettol onto a cloth and cleaning your screen with it.

Well it'll be an excuse to finally have the lightbulb in my lamp replaced.

You know I've always wanted one of those! Maybe I should finally buy one, especially now summer is on its way.

No I'm not using anything to clean my computer monitor, was cleaning my television and the marks left were irritating! I had to use saliva just to get them off as I was too afraid to use tap water, wasn't pleasant...

If you bay a daylight lamp to you desktop then you bugs will get away, i bought one and newer head it sens

end it even help you to give you more daylight in the wintertime.
try googl to tanslate the site to you languitdh. Thats the best bay i have don for a long time, and it*s a good workinglight to PC no shine on you pc

Poor bugs you will barbecue them  but it are efective this lamps to, everytime a bigs go into it you hear a terible nois, i those my lamp and have a window open end chase them out

A more friendly way would be to get a ventilator-fan, and aim it at the screen..

Thanks Tore..  I would prevent bugs getting in in the first place (like with a screen)..
So there are 3 solutions: electrocution, wind shear, and blockade..

Maybe the screen should be all dark blue  Bugs don't like blue..
