I've been on the PS3 quite a bit lately, re-living my passion for rally cars
I 'unlocked' the MKII recently, after continuous racing to get it!
- The reason being that, for the record, dad used to do banger racing...then he did Hot Rods, and raced a couple of MKII's, as well as a Ford Capri, but he always said the MKII was best. We were down on the promenade a few weeks ago watching a rally on the front here, was great watching the MKII's fly past!! - Good to see them still going, brought back memories from Co. Wexford, where the rallies are very common...They go round taping the gates; so you know there's a rally on - then watch them fly past your house
- in fact, the MKII's were assembled in Cork too (Ireland), as well as Henry Ford's father being Irish...so quite a strong Irish connection to both the MKII and Ford in general
Anyway, enough blabbering..here's a couple of pics of my MKII on the PS3. I'll try get hold of the few pics that dad has of his MKII's!! - Also, the game being played is DIRT 2, if you didn't pick up on the title
