Perhaps a better title for this topic might be “Ships I find too challenging to handleâ€.
I can understand why one might find a particular ship, or an entire type of vessel, uninteresting. In that case, one would not bother with them; SS provides a wide diversity of types. Hating a ship, however, implies that one has spent enough time trying to operate it to have become frustrated in the attempt.
Titanic suffers from having a fan club that others often find tiresome. She is, however, one of the better ships for learning the basics and the details of careful ship handling. Many users tend to go through missions like the ball in a pinball game.
It is true that jetski and powerboat are often operated in a reckless and unrealistic manner, but that can be said of most other ships in the fleet. One problem with the powerboat lies with the creators of arcade missions involving ramps. Most have the waypoints left at the default diameter so that it is not necessary to actually go over the ramps. A better diameter would be 3 meters or less.
As for the slowness of some ships: The clock time that it takes for a ship to get up to speed, and the true speed that it makes depend greatly upon the FPS that your system can support.
