Hotmail not working

For some reason, Hotmail has been down.  I've been trying to log on since Thursday and it keeps telling me that either my email address or password is wrong despite the face that I typed it in correctly.  At one point, it went into lock down because it said that I typed my email address and password wrong too many times  Is there anybody else here on the Forum who uses Hotmail and has the same problem as I do?  I desperately need help!

I'm using Live.no at the end of my e-mail account ;P

I think live/hotmail all use the same server so it is perhaps just the Canadian server(s) that are faulty.

Perhaps a malware has changed your password. Have you tried emailing the help people- they are normally very quick to respond.

I think my father has found the problem.  Yesterday my father sent me an email and got a reply from England of someone pretending to be me and asking for money!!  I think someone has hacked into my email account!!!

then that would mean microsoft has a major scam on their hands that was my guess is that your account was hacked and the password changed

use gmail instead, mush batter and have unlimit saving please and you also can program it to get the mail into you mail program

Well, we've managed to fix the problem and even find out who was responsible behind the hacking of my email account.

My big sister Jessica changed the password but I am closing down my old email address for good.
