I will start by wishing all of you members a happy New Year. Now to the point of my post here. I would like all of you to bear in mind that there are young people here on the forum who at times appear to get over excited about posting. PLEASE remember that you too, were once very young and excited about things. Replying to posts with sarcasm, abuse and comments which are totally uncalled for only tends to start a slanging match. So DO NOT DO IT.
If you are unhappy with a post, the best way to put an end to this kind of behaviour is to ignore it. It is only when you feel the need to respond with abusive comments and unkind remarks that things get out of hand.
Fred has already posted on this kind of thing on the open forum, and he has the backing of the rest of the team. Let us PLEASE make 2010 a kinder and more civilised year here on this wonderfully active and informative forum.
