Wow. Adding tons of expansion packs to the original copy of SSe when they come. Cool. No wonder they took off the 2010 to make it go on forever :) And a whole lot of new features Frank said, like the watercannons. RPA, has these water cannons. Great interview.

I have to say that this interview has really inspired confidence. Frank came over very well and has enthusiasm.

It's a shame that it wasn't formally announced as an interview on the forum.

It definately sounded very encouraging indeed.

Return of the Titan ship. (Titanic)
Hopefully Belfast can be in SSE, and Queenstown Ireland and Cherbourg France. So a real life Titanic mission can be played, and the ablety of leaving the map into another map like many maps connected together.

Well, that's not really new, but I appreciate that very much too. We have had those missions in a storyline in SS06 as well as in SS08 and I like those more than stand alone ones.

The leap from 08 to SSE is clearly going to be much greater than from 06 to 08.

Notice that Frank didn't really go into that much detail about content, save for a general variety of themes... But it is interesting to hear of a longer term committment to SSE, instead of considering it a stepping stone to, say SSE2 in 2011...

I think this means they're now happy with the game engine and methodology of delivering the sim. If sales go well, I wouldn't be surprised to see add ons becoming available at a more 'progressive' rate than with 08...

They're going to opposite way to most developers- EVolution rather than REVolution... Well done to them on that decision.

That was an excellent interview, I agree with Stu about the leap from 08 to Extremes going to bigger than 06 to 08, going to be a really excellent game! :)
