They only get the info by reading your posts, I'm sure of it.

There is more snow/ice/cold topics here than the entire weather forecasting system of Britain

When you say the beach has frozen... do you mean the sea water has frozen on it?

TFM... the beach is the sandy/rocky bit next to the water.

If he said the SEA is frozen, then you could assume he meant the wet bit.  :D

Or it can have snow, which then freezes, just like anywhere else on land.

I know what a beach is...  ;D

Round here it is a bit of shingle... lots of stones

I can't see how that can freeze... freeze implies turning from a liquid to a solid...

He also stated he walked on the beach because it frozen - I can walk on the beach if it hasn;t...

yes for the sea water

Google translates:
Yes, the sea was frozen.
no the sand was frozen

Google then entered an unexpected error, and said "no more. pleeeease"

At a new village hall just down the road from me the banister had to be raise about an inch has health and safety said it was too low. And as anyone heard their adverts? 'Heath and Safety dont stop you from doing anything, it just lets you do it safely' What? They stopped people from going up some stairs at this hall...

I dare say Victorian era factory owners said the same thing when acts of parliment ordered such dubious pieces of equipment as safety guards over moving metal parts and that sort of thing.

I know all about H&S as I have a row of folders relating to it... Mostly common sense stuff, but this current government and their legal paymasters mean that I have to document everything and even make such stupid comments as "this company acknowledges its responsibilities to H&S blah blah"... I'm so tempted to bring my sarcasm to it. I mean it is flaming obvious, isn't it? And if it's not, what will a piece of paper change.

God help the people who elected the British Government... (and the 74% who did not)  :(

Hmmm... Perhaps this forum isn't the right place to discuss how badly this government is ruining running the country.

I mean, there might be people in Rhodesia or Korea who will campaign for our freedom from an oppresive dictatorship...
