Hi, I'm no expert but if you have the license key, it shouldn't be a big deal. You could try one of two things:
Talk to the people who you bought it from, or use the easier alternative and contact VSTEP at info@shipsim.com. They should be able to help you.

I stongly suspect that you will not get any help on this one. If you have lost your CD then unfortunately that is your responsibility, you cannot really expect Vstep to give you help.

Yup, it is like if you loose your car, you still have a license but you don't have anything to use it with. Contacting the people that gave you your license won't be able to help find your car.

Interesting comparison  ::)

Perhaps, damagedtutorial, you could use this as an incentive to look for the missing disc. Capt. Traddles is quite likely right (he usually is). If, however, you find your disc and it is damaged or scratched etc, then you MIGHT have some luck.

If not, it isn't too expensive to buy in game shop.

Hi DamageTutorials,

I replied to your PM. Traddles is of course right, readers. Everyone is responsible for his or her own purchased goods.

Free copies are not distributed, wether or not there is a license key present. Businesses are not in the..well... business,.. of giving people that are careless with their posessions, free new versions of them. However bad they may feel about someone's misfortune, it's just not their responsibility.

Oh and Shane, best advice people with problems like this to contact a forum staffmember, instead of disturbing Vstep directly right away. We need to let them focus on the new game, remember!  ;)  ;D

And more often than not, we can just solve it right here, anyway.  :thumbs:

Kind Regards,
Fred
