Why is the game crashing

CAN ANYONE HELP ME!

I have recently downloaded the product from this site and its the paid for version (NOT DEMO) i have licence key, but when i try to load 1st mission to get used to the patrol boat or the tug boat mission the get closes back to desk top, I have Win XP, pent 4 processor, Nivida 5500 Geforce grafix card, when i put the update patch in the object loading bar the text is blotchy (unreadable).

Please help........

Could you enter your license key in your profile please, and ask the same question on the technical support forum you will gain acces to by entering the key in your profile?
