Can you add new boats to ship sim?

Hey ive been playing for a while and was wondering can you download new boats and were? also were can i find an oil rig thats in free roam?

ok thanks and i was alos a bit angry because i brought 2008 and went to create my own missions but it wont let me any help? and also can i find a oil rig in free roam?

The oil rig is in the Sea of Bergen!   Not so long form there you start, 10 - 15min!

You can make missions when the next patch are comming, 17th!

It's a patch ho fix many bug's and give us a mission creater! It will be possibel to download from Shipsim.com when it beeing relaes!

Welcome to the forums! The search function could provide the answers - you questions have been raised several times before. Thanks J3nsen for providing the answers. 

Unfortunately you cannot add your own vessels. Developing an editor that could do that would take just as long as it took to develop SS06 & SS08. Plans of making such an editor are postponed for an indefinite period.

Until the mission editor arrives, you can download new missions from the mission board:

Remember that you have to register your licence key to your forum profile to access the missions area.
