« on: December 12, 2009, 23:16:11 »

Ok well some of us know but some of the Addon Ships From The New Horizons Add-On Pack are found on Turbo Squid, So i was looking around and i found that they had one of the Japaneese Whaling Ships up there and i was wondering if you guy thought it looked like the Harpoon Ship From the ScreenShot

It is a well known fact that V-Step has used several models in Ship Simulator that can be found on the main Turbo Squid.

Mostly AI though, the small yachts and sailboats are believed to be from Turbosquid, since there is a pack with the same boats there.

Don't lie!  That's not the Northern Star, more likely to be a close thing to Arctic Corsair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arctic_Corsair)...

Yeah, that ship has quite a few differences from Northern/North Star. The main one being the hull shape. That's obvious.

I say that Northern Star is a mixture of BOTH of them and a dab of VSTEP's creativity  ;)

I found a Container Ship a bit close to Vermaas:
http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/438502
Just the Container Ship has two propellers, and white hull. I'll keep searching for Latitude.

That IS much closer, So I think that we have found the original Vermaas ;D I'm wondering if Latitude, Hercules Atls, Marbella Deight, Erik Raude, Pioneer, and Powerboat are in TurboSquid.
